Pre Visit:
Our secretarial and receptionist staff will assist you with making an appointment date and time to be see an Auckland Heart Group cardiologist.
You will be advised of the costs involved and anything you are required to bring with you.
What to bring?
Your Doctor's referral letter (if not faxed directly to us by your doctor)
If you are having a treadmill test you will need to bring walking shoes and exercise clothing. A shower is available for use after your treadmill.
Hours:
Consulting clinics are held between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. We also have evening clinics at 94 Mountain Road, Epsom, from 5.00pm until 9.00pm, Monday to Thursday.
We also have evening and Saturday morning clinics available for echocardiograms.
Our staff will make appointment times to suit you.
For further information regarding appointments phone the secretary of the Cardiologist concerned directly or alternatively phone: 623 1020 and asked to be transferred.
Parking:
Free parking is available at each of our clinics.
Fees:
Our staff notify patients of any fees involved at the time of making your appointment. Should this be overlooked for any reason, please don't hesitate to request these details.
We anticipate payment of our fees at the time of your visit. An invoice can be arranged with the receptionist if this is necessary. Bank account details are available should you wish to pay your account directly through e-banking.
The Auckland Heart Group is Auckland's only cardiac Affiliated Provider to Southern Cross Healthcare. This means that if you have medical insurance cover with Southern Cross we will complete and submit your claim directly to Southern Cross for you, giving you one less thing to worry about.
As there are a wide range of Southern Cross policies, the fee structure can be complex and confusing. In order for us to obtain approval for your claim, we will require the current details of your policy type and number.
