Pedometers:
Auckland Heart Group has two types of pedometer available. These will help you keep track of how successfully you are achieving your target number of steps each day (usually 10,000 steps per day is recommended).
The Omron Sensory Pedometer is priced at $70 (including GST). This can be popped in a bag, or pocket.
The Omron Deluxe Pedometer is priced at $46 (including GST) and is worn on your belt.
Blood Pressure monitors
The Omron blood pressure monitor which the Auckland Heart Group can supply has a memory capacity for over 100 recordings, including date and time so that you can keep an adequate record of your blood pressure.
The price is $195 including GST.
