Dr John Ormiston  MBChB (Otago), FRACP, FRACR, FCSANZ

John Ormiston trained in cardiology at Green Lane Hospital and at a UCLA Hospital in Los Angeles. He is New Zealand’s most experienced interventional cardiologist. Besides working at Mercy Angiography, where he is the medical director, he also works at Auckland City Hospital. He is the immediate past president of the Asia-Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology. He has an international reputation, has extensive experience with clinical trials and has a particular interest in and experience with drug-eluting stents.
