Denise - Cardiology Nurse

Denise joined the Auckland Heart Group early in 2010, and works part time as a cardiology nurse at clinics held at the Botany Junction Medical Centre, one of our 8 different locations across the Auckland region.

Denise began her nursing career as an enrolled nurse in the Emergency Department of the Conradie Hospital in South Africa. Later, as a registered nurse, she worked for eight years in the Coronary Care unit at the Panorama Medi-clinic, Cape Town, South Africa, before moving to New Zealand in 2003. Her experience in New Zealand has been interesting and varied; she has moved from the Coronary Care unit at Auckland Hosptial to the Emergency Department at the Hutt Hospital, spent approximately two years in prison nursing, and is currently working at the Manukau Super Clinic.

Her interests include art and collecting antique furniture, music and dance, reading and walking and recreational activities with her family.
