Wei Li, who joined the Auckland Heart Group in January 2010, is an experienced cardiac sonographer and is now working part-time for the Group's cardiac imaging company - Ultravision, holding fortnightly ultrasound clinics at the Botany Junction Medical Centre, East Auckland. She has previously worked in adult cardiac ultrasound at Auckland City Hospital, but transferred to Starship Children's Hospital in 2009.
Wei Li has a Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology, a Diploma of Applied Science and a Diploma in Medical Ultrasound. Her previous experience includes working as a cardiac technician at Auckland City Hospital, and also as a fitness instructor and personal trainer. Until recently she has also been a competitive latin dancer and her latest interest is circus training in trapeze and lyra.
